Amazon Alexa Voice Search now lets you find music in an easier way

Have you ever wondered what is the song with those lyrics you just heard? Do you want to ask an automated device for a genre or a certain kind of music, and let it surprise you? Amazon Alexa Voice Search has gotten smarter and lets you do just that. Since Alexa voice recognition started working properly and with the improvements over Alexa to speak soon without being asked, the improvements over this assistant application have made it much more interesting than before. Alexa Voice Search now lets you get your songs with simple voice commands, in a natural and straightforward way.

What are the improvements on Amazon Alexa Voice Search?

Regarding music, you can ask Amazon Alexa Voice Search for songs in a more natural way now. For example, if you ask Alexa for an artist in particular, it will try to play first the most popular songs by them. Or if you tell it to play “happy music”, it will try to search for happy music on the genre you most listen to. You can also tell it some song lyrics and Alexa will try to find the song for you, which I think is quite useful.

All in all, since Amazon Alexa Voice Search was included in a firmware update, it has started to get more natural and predictive, which is a good thing. If you arrive to your house tired and want to play some music,  you might not have to fiddle with any devices now. Simply ask nicely for it, and Alexa will play it for you, while you relax. Seems like the future is upon us, and it seems to be full of music.
